we ought to be a real human being.....

As far as I know, there are merely two main characteristics that distinguish human beings from animals though we all are sentient beings from the religious perspectives. Body structures and thinking power are the two things of distinction between humans and animals. Humans have straight body structures albeit there are a very few exceptional cases and animals have crooked body structures. While humans have high thinking power, animals have a very least or low thinking power. This is asper my knowledge but I am sure, you all may have different perceptions on it.
This is one of the women who was died in the festival stampede recently

So there is no point of saying shameless or disloyal when we see an ox climbing onto his mother or sisters and doing shameful things because they lack thinking power and they don't have sense of embarrassment. But it would be a bitter embarrassment and insult on our part when a grandfather rapes his granddaughters, when an uncle rapes his niece, when a brother rapes his sister and when a group of boys rape a girl. Actually these awful things are expected from animals but it is quite depressing to know that humans are taking the place of animals especially in today's world.

When animals kill and take each other's fleshes and bloods, don't view them cruel or devilish, they are not. It is just their way of living. But when a man takes a life of another man, when a gang of boys thrash a boy to the death, when a man is roped and thrown into a river and over the cliff and when humans slaughter the animals for commercial purposes and own consumption, they can be called a true devils, a human devils indeed. We are bestowed with the  thinking power by the gods but we fail to make use of it. Humans are becoming more aggressive than the animals, greedier than the animals and cruel than the animals. Sometimes I wish if a god could bestow thinking power to the animals instead of human beings so that human beings would look upon them as an example.

Sometimes I wonder what could be the wrong with today's people. But it is obvious that something is missing from us. At times we are becoming oblivious of what we are doing. Sometimes I feel like there is need to remind our people the basic functions of five senses because it seems that people are forgetting the functions of not only the five senses but also of the other parts of body. Mouth is for eating and talking, not for hurting others or biting others. Nose is for breathing, not for sniffling drugs like marijuana. ears are for listening good things, not for listening to rumors or gossips. Eyes are for seeing and looking what lies ahead and behind us, not for looking at others' behaviors. Hands are for doing works, not for stealing others' properties and stabbing others. Legs are for walking not for stamping onto the other's bodies or like that. So it is quite sad to hear that a good number of people have been killed in the stampede during durresa festival in India. This evidently indicates how negligent people are, about other's well-beings. It is not only in Indian nation where such incidents are happening, I could hear n see the news on such cases happening in other parts of the universe also. Even in our small country like Bhutan I heard the news on the death of the people in the stampede during melam-chen mo.

Only animals will stamp because they don't bother to look what is there in front of them or what is there behind them. Whereas we as a human being ought to be far more better than animals. We should be more conscious and careful. I feel bad inside and at the same time drag me to hesitation when I make comparison between humans and animals. But the very facts of human beings prompt me to do so. And I apologize you all if I am going against the values of human beings. It doesn't mean that I don't venerate human beings. I do if there are something respectable values within the human beings.

                                   Thanks....
